It's crazy how long a work week feels when you know that you have a 3 day weekend coming up! Now that I'm not a student and I work full time, I look forward to 3 day weekends like it's summer. This weekend, Eric and I had originally planned to go to Deep Creek Lake to spend the holiday, since we haven't really gone other than once or twice this summer, but after looking at the weather app on our iphones all day long and hoping it would change, we decided that it wasn't a good weekend to go. It was supposed to thunderstorm all weekend and be in the 80s there. I know, 80s doesn't sound that bad after the summer we've had this year, but we don't have AC there, so sitting in an un-airconditioned house while it rained outside was not the weekend we were hoping for. We were pretty bummed that we didn't have anything to do so we decided to go to Chesapeake instead to visit Eric's family! We went to Eric's grandparent's nursing home to help them unpack since they just sold their house in AZ and had all of their stuff shipped to Virginia. And I use the term "help" very loosely. Eric and I got very caught up in all of the old pictures she has. Some of them are GREAT! I think her wedding album was my favorite. I can't believe how good the photographs are, especially since they are all unedited. I was very impressed. I don't edit ALL of my photos, but I do most of them. It is hard to imagine taking photographs and not edit them! Hopefully one day I'll get there. Anyway, I don't have many photos yet since we just got here, but here are a few from his backyard.

Your pics are AMAZING! I know what you mean about film. It seems so hard! I've been itching to get my film camera back out to play some. :) It just gets so expensive! ANWYAY, great work!
