... 6 months?!?!?

So for the wedding... WE HAVE A DATE! We will be getting married on April 14, 2012. Yes, this April. Yes... 6 months... It is true. Me, Eric and my mom went out on Sunday to a couple places to find the ceremony/reception site. We didn't like the first place that we went to so we moved on to a place called Stone Manor in Middletown (where Eric lives). It was GORGEOUS! We told the owner that we wanted to try to get married on a Saturday in May, to which he responded that you need at LEAST a year and a half to book a Saturday in May. As he was checking other says of the week he informed us that he JUST had a couple call to cancel their April wedding date because he was getting deployed and they needed to get married sooner. We quickly took that date. The owner kept telling us how lucky we are and how this never happens and we must have good karma. :). There was actually a wedding getting set up for that night, so we got to take a peek to see what it looked like. Ironically, the wedding taking place there was for 78 people, and we plan to invite about 75-80 people. So we basically got to see what our day will look like! This place is gorgeous. There is a little lake with a fountain, a field (which will have tall, yellow flowers in April), a gorgeous tent, and barnes in the background for pictures. Also, they recommended a photographer that does a lot of wedding shoots there who is amazing. I am very picky about what photographer shoots at my wedding day and I absolutely love this girl. They also said that she is the only photographer that they allow full access to for pictures on the property. It just so happens that she has an opening on April 14th, so hopefully she will be shooting our wedding!! So far, everything is working out PERFECTLY. I meet with the photographer on Friday, and we set up an appointment to go dress shopping on Saturday. So excited!!! :)
