This post is happening way later than it should, but better late than never I guess! I have so many new things to share I don't even know where to start! Ok, so I'll just start here. WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! After months of torturous visits so multiple houses in numerous cities and towns... big single families, small ranchers, huge ranchers, townhouses, farm houses... we almost gave up. But I'm so glad we didn't because we finally settled and found the perfect house for us. And it's actually in Frederick! It has 4 bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms and it's in a great neighborhood... only about 5 minutes from my parents' house. It's the perfect starter home and I cannot wait to move in and start my new life with my soon-to-be hubby. Nothing makes me happier than that thought :). The house is actually a short sale, but we are set to move in no later than the week we get back from the honeymoon. Which is perfect timing! When we lost the first house we loved, our realtor told us that God is watching out for us and we lost that house because it wasn't the house for us and that we would surely find one better. He was right!

Now, for the wedding. Planning has been going exceptionally well. I think I'm the luckiest bride ever because everyone always has horror stories about planning their weddings. For example, my sister booked her reception in a hotel ballroom, and got a call weeks later begging her to switch that date because they double booked that day by accident. How does that happen?!?! Also, when my sister's wedding dress came in, it was ordered 4 sizes too big AND in the wrong color. Nothing like this has happened to me {yet} and everything has gone smoothly. Every vendor we've wanted we've gotten. Everything we've ordered has come in correctly. And every little detail is coming together perfectly. Now let's just hope there isn't an earthquake/tornado/hurricane/snowstorm on April 14th. :)
... but no really, be prepared people because nothing {and I mean nothing} ever just goes this smoothly.

AND my bridal shower is this weekend!!!!!! I'm so excited. My sister and my mom are SO amazing for planning all of this out. We are having it at Dutch's Daughter (only the best restaurant in Frederick) and yes, there will be crab dip, and I'm just so excited to see everyone. It's hard to imagine my whole family, Eric's whole family, and my friends all in the same room, but I'm sure everything will be great. Ahhh I can't wait!

I apologize, there are no pictures with this post. My camera is somewhere in a dark place covered in cobweb, I'm sure. You have no idea how much this saddens me. I only wish that after all of this wedding craziness, I can rekindle my passion for that camera. Sigh.
